Shell Abdoo
Shell is a seasoned singer-songwriter with more than two decades in the music industry and a discography spanning numerous albums and singles. Her music has been featured on Triple J and produced by industry leaders, including Abbey Road Studios alumni and former Beatles producer, Richard Lush.
Since transitioning her talents to the world of musical theatre, Shell has breathed life into characters in Little Shop of Horrors, Chicago, Rock of Ages, Fame, and The Who's Tommy. Each role has been a stepping stone, further honing her abilities to convey complex emotions and narratives, not only through song but through the nuanced language of performance. Her Only Everything character's journey through the trepidations and triumphs of love and life reflect aspects of Shell's own experiences.
Off stage, Shell continues to write and compose, her music ever-evolving as she draws inspiration from her own life and the stories of those around her. Shell currently fronts three bands and can be found most nights performing in venues around Australia.
Berin Denham
Berin has more than 4 decades' experience in theatre, spanning more than 90 productions.
Having begun his career as a child actor, appearing in The Gypsy Baron and The King and I, Berin then spent several years working in technical roles. His off-stage credits include lighting and sound design, set design, production management and stage management. Productions include A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Little Shop of Horrors, Noises Off, Annie Get Your Gun, Singin' in the Rain, and Jesus Christ Superstar.
Since returning to the stage, Berin has played leading roles in Oklahoma!, Alice in Wonderland, Hair, West Side Story, A Chorus Line, The Pirates of Penzance, Big River, The Music Man, Guys and Dolls, Rock of Ages, and Strictly Ballroom.
As a producer, Berin has produced local productions of The Sound of Music and Sleeping Beauty, a touring production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and a big-top production of Disney's High School Musical.
Berin's non-theatrical credits include emceeing for corporate events, in-game announcing for The Canberra Capitals, voicing radio commercials, and appearing in short films and television commercials, as well as the ABC film Mabo.
Only Everything is the first show Berin has written from scratch. Writing it with his partner, Shell, has been the most rewarding experience of his career.
Louiza Blomfield
Louiza's enchantment with the world of musical theatre ignited over two decades ago at the ANU Arts Center with Old Time Music Hall. Since then, she has embodied numerous formidable and spirited yet vulnerable characters on stage. From portraying Mary Magdeline in Jesus Christ Superstar to Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, from Sheila in Hair to Joanne in Rent, and from The Lady of the Lake in Spamalot to Karen in The Boy from Oz, her repertoire is rich and diverse. Louiza's musical journey includes performances with big bands, choirs, and various solo endeavors, including her own Cabaret show, Louiza with a Z, in 2010.
Her accolades include a Canberra Area Theatre Award (CAT Award) for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Ursula in Free-Rain Theatre's The Little Mermaid. She further showcased her talent as Dorothy Brock in Free-Rain Theatre's production of 42nd Street, earning a CAT nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical in 2017.
In 2019, Louiza captivated audiences with her performances in Everyman Theatre's Queers at The Courtyard Studio and The World Goes Round for Canberra Repertory Society. The year 2021 marked a milestone as she tackled one of her most significant roles yet, Donna in Mamma Mia for Free-Rain Theatre Company. Despite the challenges, the production finally graced the stage, with Donna standing as Louiza's most substantial role to date.
Returning to Everyman in 2022, Louiza delighted audiences as one of the party singers in The Importance of Being Earnest at ACT Hub, followed by a brief stint at Goulburn Performing Arts Centre. She was delighted to have the opportunity to reprise her role in Queers before yet another round of Earnest at the ACT Hub. Louiza's journey through the world of musical theatre has been missing one thing... Being involved in a new work. Louiza is delighted for the opportunity to bring Only Everything to life. A work written, directed and performed by locals.
David Pearson
After graduating from the Royal Academy of Music, David was part of the Baylis Education Program with the English National Opera under the tutelage of Mary King. Other highlights included a national tour of the UK with Sir Elton John, understudying the roles of Ciaphas and Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar and making his West End debut. David was baritone soloist with the London Symphony Orchestra performing Leonard Bernstein's Mass, conducted by Maron Alsop for the BBC and was also a featured vocalist for Patti Smith's Meltdown with the London Sinfonetta.
In Australia, David has appeared in premiere productions of Songs and Sonnets with Lakespeare, Titanic the Musical, Jekyll and Hyde, and Nigredo Hotel. Other works include Sweeney Todd, The Phantom of the Opera, Mahagonny Songspiel, Handel's Susanna, Carousel, Godspell, Joseph, 42nd Street, South Pacific, Peter Pan, The Prime-Ministerial Impresario and Not the Messiah!. Non-musical roles include Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Cooley in Don's Party, Wil in Shakespeare and his Mistress and two successful seasons as Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice.
David has appeared in television commercials and training videos, and also as an extra in productions such as The Dish, The Potato Factory, The Prime Minister is Missing and seasons 2 and 3 of Total Control.
In addition to his theatre training, David holds a bachelor's degree in communications and digital media from the University of Canberra.
